The NeoCons are not Conservatives. They are the result of a careful and expensive operation run by the corporate nations which today control our institutions.
To redefine the principles of Conservative thought they first destroyed Barry Goldwater and then elected Ronald Reagan to express ideas which promoted the centrist model for government they needed to assert control as we see it today.

Our
proposed agenda for defeating the Keystone is not a one shot battle.
It is a peaceful war carried out to return power to the people in their
communities. It begins with stopping the Keystone while at the same
time assisting Deep Green start-ups to extend their commerce into local
areas by franchise. The power exercised by Big Oil is fear, fear we
will lose even more jobs and income to foreign countries as the process
of offshoring continues.
Step One - Enforce Accountability for Big Oil.
We are now days away from passage of the Keystone through Congress. To stop the outrageous assertion on the part of Big Oil they can use the power of the state to evade accountability we must force Congress to adopt, along with the Keystone, legislation which eliminates Big Oil's ability to externalize their costs.

We need to focus on this because it changes the game and invites in the majority of Americans who believe in personal responsibility for everyone. It also provides an immediate reason to organize locally to remove from office those legislators who refuse the reasonable plan outlined for corporate accountability.
This cannot be accomplished by petitioning your Representatives or Senators. We need a demonstration of the electoral power of the people by recalling them locally. Removing legislators provides the demonstration we need and moves power back to the local level.
